For my dreamscape animation project, I knew right away that I wanted to play with the idea of creating something like Alice in Wonderland in which she falls down the rabbit hole. I like this idea because I feel like there are so many fun things that your brain is capable of coming up with and designing, especially when considering things that don't even exist yet. For the "real life" videos, I plan to capture videos of myself walking along a trail that is surrounded by trees in order to immediately bring that viewer into a sense of relaxation and engagement with a beautiful scenery and interesting nature elements. There is a park that connects to a very forest-like trail off of South Boulder Rd when heading towards Louisville out of Boulder, so I think that I will go there and bring a friend to help me with the videography. For the animations, I plan to reach the two minute mark in three different segments (maybe more, as I start to play around with the animations themselves and how the process works). The first segment will be the falling down the rabbit hole -- a black background with swirling colors here and there, as well as strange objects and animals and other fictional things flying by as I fall down. The second segment will be landing on the ground in the alternate world and having the background come into view as I look around in confusion and see animals and objects and plants and more begin to emerge. The last animation part will be me walking around and discovering interesting creatures and plants and finding things I've never seen before, maybe even getting scared by some things. This will also include me tripping, again, and falling into another hole of some sort, and then emerging back in the "real world". This will lead into more "real life" videos of me crawling out from behind a tree and coming to terms with the fact that I am back in reality and gathering my thoughts to get ready to go home and pretend like nothing ever happened.

For sounds, I will find free sounds that encompass animals, scenery, nature, fear, joy, and more, which I will discover throughout the process.
