Welcome to my site, Delly Meats' Factory! My name is Delaney Brady and here you will find some of my works of art, projects and brainstorming for future ideas + explorations. I was born and raised in Colorado and I currently reside in Boulder. I find inspiration from the beauty of everyday people and things, working to practice the art of noticing -- observing the things around me and how they interact with each other in the present, no matter how small. I work in the mediums of film photography and digital photography, taking great pride in the processes of each unique way of capturing images. Portraiture is one of my favorite subjects -- every person has features that deserve to be accentuated and deserve to feel as worthy as they are, simply by existing. As I improve my portraiture, I also would like to expand on my street photography. It is intimidating to be out in the open and photographing strangers and strange places, but whenever I do so I feel like it encourages me to step out of my comfort zone and commemorate things that have every right to be noticed. In addition to photographing for fun, I have started to become more involved in activism and using photos to pass along ideas and bring attention to issues. Some topics that I choose to focus on are women's rights + empowerment, homelessness and racial justice. I look forward to constantly expanding my modes of creation while learning more from those around me as art continues to change. Please explore throughout my Factory as you see fit, enjoy!
